I’m part of a team that owns and manages F45 Training studio franchises expanding throughout the United States and Bahamas. F45 Training is a group class that consists of 45 minute high-intensity, circuit training that utilizes technology displayed around the studio to create a very custom workout for each person.

WHAT IS F45 TRAINING?

The “F” stands for Functional Training and the “45” stands for the total time of all of our classes – 45 minutes! The concept is simple – our studios offer a 45-minute High-Intensity, Circuit Training workout class. Our studios offer the same class at different times throughout the day. These workouts are created by the F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department from a database of over 3,000 different exercises, so our members never get the same workout twice!

The purpose of F45 is to create a Group-Training facility that features the most dynamic and effective training styles from all over the world. F45 not only wanted to find the best types of workouts, but also a way to vary those workouts every day and make them accessible to any and everyone.

“Functional Training” is the engagement in exercises that mimic or recreate everyday movement. For example, lifting, squatting, jumping, twisting, pulling, pushing, punching, kicking, rowing, kicking — all “Functional.”
F45 workout and rest time vary at each exercise station. This provides an ever-evolving challenge and workouts that is never the same.

Each studio has a series of TVs with state of the art technology mounted on the front wall to provide a customized station-by-station diagram for each workout. Along with our F45 trainers, this system is a visual tool for you to move from station to station. You never have to worry about forgetting what to do at a station because it will always be on the tv in front of you!
